Virtual Private Network

A VPN is a private wide area networks implemented over the Internet and securely connects users of the same organisation working at different locations. As a minimum a VPN requires at least one permanent Internet connection at the primary location. To ensure security VPN employs dedicated hardware and software to provide firewall protection and encryption of data over the Internet.
